Carin Scheve is Dutch by design, but Italian, French and American in spirit. After her studies in fashion, she started working with Li Edelkoort, the famous trend forecaster, in Paris. Projects at Studio Edelkoort included photo styling for the trend magazine View on Color, Inview and Bloom, and the in-house fashion trend book The Key.

In addition she started working as a freelance fashion and interior stylist. Her clients and projects in Paris include Hermes, Cartier, Galeries Lafayette, Vogue France and Marie Claire Maison.

From Paris Carin moved to New York where she continued to style, though her work increasingly involved developing creative concepts and art direction. At this time Carin developed her vision as a stylist, working to bring a unique concept and sense of creativity to each project.

Then she met architect and designer Piero Lissoni, who invited her to come to Milan. Together they began a collaboration for all image and style related projects in his studio. Her work with Lissoni included creating concepts and style for catalogues, showrooms, hotels, and advertising campaigns for clients as Cassina, Boffi, Living Divani, Fantini, Glas and Kerakoll. Every year she would concept and style for the international Salone del Mobile, the very well known furniture fair.

Carin moved back to New York in 2011, and currently works on concepts and styling for interiors and photoshoots. Recently she worked again with Li Edelkoort on a large project for Rado watches, for which she concepted, art directed and styled a series of lifestyle images.
